Transforming Lives on the Colombian-Venezuelan Border
Children and families along the Colombian-Venezuelan border are facing ongoing instability due to migration, poverty, and limited access to support. Many young people lack safe spaces, consistent education, and mental health resources.
Through Actitud Resiliente, local leaders are stepping in to change that—providing youth with the support, structure, and opportunities they need to move forward.

About the Project
A Safe Space for Healing, Growth, and Opportunity
The Youth Resilience Center gives children and teens a safe, consistent place to go after school. Here, they receive counseling, academic support, and access to programs that build confidence and life skills.
From leadership training and literacy support to sports and recreation, the goal is simple: help young people stay engaged, supported, and on a positive path. The Center also works closely with families, offering guidance and tools to create more stable home environments.

Expanding Mental Health Support
This project focuses on growing access to mental health services in Villa del Rosario, where the need is high. Funding will support trained staff, improve the physical space, and expand programs focused on emotional well-being, early intervention, and family support.

The Impact
Over 12 months, this program will support more than 2,300 students. Young people will gain access to consistent care, build stronger coping skills, and receive help early when challenges arise—setting them up for better outcomes in school and beyond.

Why It Matters
When youth have support, they are more likely to stay in school, avoid harmful environments, and build a better future for themselves and their communities.
