More About the Project 

GO Campaign partner Time for Change has a reputation with local government agencies, and are often the first call when a child is orphaned or abandoned. After a visit to the orphanage in 2022, a GO donor purchased bunkbeds and mattresses for the 32 children living there. During our visit we saw first-hand how important music is to the children, their healing, their mental health, and their happiness.

Local Hero Barbara Hill has committed her life to not only these children, but youth who were former sex workers, providing them safe shelter, job training, and a fair chance at life through their bakery and work making bags through repurposed materials. Time for Change is on the ground, not only providing for these children, but fighting for their rights and providing resources where and when the government cannot.
